The school is committed to building a high-level new think tank, jointly establishing the “Sino-German Industry and Technology Research Think Tank” with the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the China Democratic Construction Association, and the “Zhejiang High-Quality Open Research Institute” with the Zhejiang Foreign Trade Service Center. The “Research Base for Optimizing Innovation System and Innovation Environment” has been selected as a soft science research base in Zhejiang Province. The school also plays an important role on platforms such as the “German Language Countries Research Center”, registered by the Ministry of Education for national and regional research, and the “Sino-German Industrial Culture Research Center”, jointly established with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Over the past five years, the number of high-level projects, such as those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Social Science Foundation, and the Ministry of Education’s Humanities and Social Sciences program, has increased significantly. The number of representative papers published in ABS four-star and above journals and authoritative Chinese journals has grown year by year.
