
This program, a joint Chinese-foreign dual-degree program jointly developed by Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) and Macquarie University in Australia, following a 2+2 joint program model. Students must study abroad for two years according to the joint program plan established by the Chinese and Australia universities. Students will spend the first four semesters at ZUST, and the fifth to eighth semesters at the partner university in Australia. If students complete courses that meet the degree and graduation requirements of both institutions, they will be awarded a bachelor’s degree from each university, as well as a Chinese undergraduate diploma.
The International Business major systematically builds a knowledge base in international business, focusing on developing core competencies for a globalized business environment. Students acquire practical skills in areas such as cross-cultural business communication, international market strategy, and multinational enterprise operations and management. Key courses include International Business Negotiation, Academic English, Digital Trade Practice, Multinational Corporation Management, Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence Applications, and Quantitative Research Methods, enhancing students’ competitiveness in international business in the digital era.
The program aims to cultivating high-quality professionals who are well-versed in international business regulations, possess solid knowledge in business and management, and are proficient in English for cross-border business activities. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in international business operations and management within foreign-invested enterprises, multinational corporations, and government agencies.
