The International Business professional degree program is designed to meet the development needs of regional economy and engineering technology enterprises in Zhejiang. It aims to cultivate high-level, interdisciplinary international business professionals with a global perspective, integrating business skills and engineering technology. The career development goal is to train students to become senior international business specialists in their respective industries or professions.

The program offers five main research directions: International Business Environment and Risk, International Engineering Technology Innovation Management, Food Safety and International Trade, International Engineering Business Investment and Financing Decision-Making, Sino-German Industrial Ecology and Industrial Culture. This program is supported by a well-structured team of 25 full-time faculty members, with the following characteristics: senior professional titles accounts for 88%, doctoral degree holders accounts for 64%, faculty with industry experience accounts for 64%, under 40 years old accounts for 32%. Among the key faculty members, there is 1 Provincial Young and Middle-Aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions, 1 Provincial “Seven Batches” Talent in the Propaganda and Culture System, 1 Provincial Young Academic Leader in Higher Education, 1 Provincial Outstanding Teacher, 4 Provincial “151 Talent Project” Members (including 1 second-level candidate), 3 Zhejiang Youth Social Science Scholars. The program owns strong research output and extensive experience in postgraduate education.
