The Accounting professional degree program leverages the strengths of ZUST as a leading institution in engineering education. It aims to cultivate innovative, interdisciplinary, application-oriented, and internationally competent senior accounting professionals who meet the demands of economic and social development in the new era. Graduates will possess strong political integrity, a solid professional knowledge base, practical competence, and comprehensive capabilities.
The program offers three main research directions: Green Industry and Environmental Accounting, Digital Economy and Intelligent Finance and Auditing Thought and Governance Modernization. The program currently has 11 master’s supervisors, including 6 professors (or equivalent senior titles) and 5 associate professors (or equivalent associate senior titles), all 11 faculty members hold doctoral degrees. Among the key instructors, there are 2 Provincial “151 Talent Project” Members and 2 Zhejiang Youth Social Science Scholars. The program has substantial research outputs and extensive experience in postgraduate education. It demonstrates strong academic capabilities, with an average annual research funding of 56,500 RMB per capita and an average of 5.4 published research papers per capita. Faculty members have been awarded 6 provincial and ministerial research awards. The program emphasizes case-based teaching and practical training, supported by long-term stable and collaborative practice bases, as well as a sufficient number of industry instructors. The high-quality talent cultivation is seen by 1 provincial teaching achievement award in the past three years and the approval of 1 provincial elite course.
